How I Wrote, Published and Promoted 100 Books PDF Author: Daniel Marques

Book Description
After I published “How to Write, Publish & Promote Your Own Book In As Fast As 3 Hours With 10 Simple Steps” and “Creative Souls” I thought that readers, and especially writers, would appreciate my gifts to them, as I came forward in revealing personal secrets about how to write a good book at lightning speed. But instead, these two books ended up generating the most hateful attacks and derisions I have ever received. They described me as a drug addict and a psychopath, doing pretty much more than what anyone could have done, even if they hated the devil. Such amazing reactions surely prove that these books are great, because only amazing books can generate fear in so many people. These individuals hate the fact that I reveal how to be a great writer without selling the soul to the devil, as they may have done it, otherwise, I can’t see the explanation for so much anger. On the other hand, many of my frustrated friends and followers are struggling to write their first novel, and keep asking me how I do it. They probably imagine that I’m hiding something transcendental, like maybe a stargate to another dimension. I’ve actually had some curious minds asking me if I talk with dead beings and it took me quite a while to realize that they weren’t joking. I also had readers sending me emails asking to prove that I’m not dead, that my entire biography is true and that I am who I say I am. Somehow, it seems that when success is abnormal, people need you to justify to them that you deserve it, as if they had the right to judge others and stop them. And that’s exactly where most of the problems writers face start. So much insanity and hate couldn’t possibly be wasted, therefore the idea to write this book was indeed clear, even though it actually reveals the unacceptable truth that everyone asks for: How did I do it? How I wrote nearly 200 books and published more than 100 in just 5 years? Continue to read and you’ll find my hidden secrets. Just don’t expect to like them. Most people can’t handle the truth.

American Jewish Year Book 2013

American Jewish Year Book 2013 PDF Author: Arnold Dashefsky
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 331901658X
Category : Social Science
Languages : en
Pages : 872
Book Description
This book, in its 113th year, provides insight into major trends in the North American Jewish community, examining Jewish education, New York Jewry, national and Jewish communal affairs, and the US and world Jewish population. It also acts as an important resource with its lists of Jewish Institutions, Jewish periodicals, and academic resources as well as Jewish honorees, obituaries, and major recent events. It should prove useful to social scientists and historians of the American Jewish community, Jewish communal workers, and the press, among others. For more than a century, the American Jewish Year Book has remained and continues to serve, even in the Internet age, as the leading reference work on contemporary Jewish life. This year’s volume, with its special reports on Jewish education and the New York community and its updates on Jewish population statistics, Jewish institutions, and the major Jewish figures who passed in the year past, continues this splendid tradition. Pamela S. Nadell, Chair, Department of History, American University and Co-editor, Making Women’s Histories: Beyond National Perspectives The 2013 volume of the American Jewish Year Book impressively demonstrates that Arnold Dashefsky and Ira Sheskin have restored this important resource in all its former glory. Bruce A. Phillips, Professor of Sociology and Jewish Communal Service, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Los Angeles Having a current American Jewish Year Book on my shelf is like having a panel of experts on American Jewish life at the ready, prepared to give me thoughtful, accurate answers and observations on the key issues, trends and statistics that define our continental Jewish community today. Well into its second century, the American Jewish Year Book continues to be an essential resource for serious leaders, practitioners and students who seek to ground their work in solid research and up-to-date data. 100 Books Every Blues Fan Should Own

100 Books Every Blues Fan Should Own PDF Author: Edward Komara
Publisher: Rowman & Littlefield
ISBN: 0810889226
Category : Music
Languages : en
Pages : 319
Book Description
Search the Internet for the 100 best songs or best albums. Dozens of lists will appear from aficionados to major music personalities. But what if you not only love listening to the blues or country music or jazz or rock, you love reading about it, too. How do you separate what matters from what doesn’t among the hundreds—sometimes thousands—of books on the music you so love? In the Best Music Books series, readers finally have a quick-and-ready list of the most important works published on modern major music genres by leading experts. In 100 Books Every Blues Fan Should Own, Edward Komara, former Blues Archivist of the University of Mississippi, and his successor Greg Johnson select those histories, biographies, surveys, transcriptions and studies from the many hundreds of works that have been published about this vital American musical genre. Komara and Johnson provide a short description of the contents and the achievement of each title selected for their “Blues 100.” Entries include full bibliographic citations, prices of copies in print, and even descriptions of specific editions for book collectors. 100 Books Every Blues Fan Should Own also includes suggested blues recordings to accompany each recommended work, as well as a concluding section on key reference titles—or as Komara and Johnson phrase it: “The Books behind the Blues 100.” 100 Books Every Blues Fan Should Own serves as a guide for any blues fan looking for a road map through the history of—and even history of the scholarship on—the blues. Here Komara and Johnson answer the question of not only what is a “blues” book, but which ones are worth owning.
