The One Ray strides through 7 Regions in 3 Steps

The One Ray strides through 7 Regions in 3 Steps PDF Author: Helena Petrovna Blavatsky
Publisher: Philaletheians UK
ISBN:
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 17
Book Description
The Solitary Ray, shooting like a falling star through the planes of Non-being into the First World of Being, the Noumenal World of Truth, gives birth to the Ideal Triangle, before withdrawing whence it had come. The Solitary Ray is the Pythagorean Monad. It strides through the Seven Regions of the Universe in three steps: First Logos, The One. Second Logos, The One made Three, concreting into Third Logos, where the Three live within The One, thus making up the Perfect Square in heaven — and a Cube on earth. Terrestrial number 2 is useless and unlucky. Twin serpents conceal the One from the many. The Seven Rays of Logos, 3 + 4, are Three Principles + Four Vehicles on the material plane. They vivify Seven Worlds of Being, symbolised by the Ladder, as follows: Absolute, Archetypal, Spiritual, Manasic, Psychic, Astral, and Elemental. The Earth is no World.

The Myths of Narasimha and Vamana

The Myths of Narasimha and Vamana PDF Author: Deborah A. Soifer
Publisher: SUNY Press
ISBN: 9780791408001
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 321
Book Description
The Sanskrit Puranas and epics are replete with stories of the avatars, incarnations of the god Visnu in various forms to rid the universe of malevolent forces and to restore the proper cosmic balance. As Narasimha, half-man half-lion, Visnu finds a loophole in the pact of invulnerability the demon Hiranaipu has received from god Brahma, and rends the demon apart with his claws. As the brahmin dwarf, Vamana, Visnu deceives the demon Bali with his diminutive appearance and thwarts Bali's attempt to gain universal sovereignty. After carefully analyzing the myths of Vamana and Narasimha, Deborah Soifer grounds her study in the textual history of each avatar and its myth, in their religious contexts, and in the intricate cosmology of the classical period of Hinduism. Contrasting the bestial persona of Narasimha with Vamana's priestly appearance and his associations with early cosmologic themes, she finds complementarity and significance in this pair as they are viewed in the larger context of periodic cosmic destructions and recreations. While focusing primarily on these two mythological figures, Soifer's work explores the relationship between dharma and the 'devious' acts of gods; the interplay between cosmic and 'sociocosmic' levels of reality; and the relationship between cosmology, theology, and soteriology in a religious worldview.

Astronomy Across Cultures

Astronomy Across Cultures PDF Author: Helaine Selin
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 9401141797
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 665
Book Description
Astronomy Across Cultures: A History of Non-Western Astronomy consists of essays dealing with the astronomical knowledge and beliefs of cultures outside the United States and Europe. In addition to articles surveying Islamic, Chinese, Native American, Aboriginal Australian, Polynesian, Egyptian and Tibetan astronomy, among others, the book includes essays on Sky Tales and Why We Tell Them and Astronomy and Prehistory, and Astronomy and Astrology. The essays address the connections between science and culture and relate astronomical practices to the cultures which produced them. Each essay is well illustrated and contains an extensive bibliography. Because the geographic range is global, the book fills a gap in both the history of science and in cultural studies. It should find a place on the bookshelves of advanced undergraduate students, graduate students, and scholars, as well as in libraries serving those groups.

The Big Fish

The Big Fish PDF Author: Anna Bonshek
Publisher: BRILL
ISBN: 9401204136
Category : Political Science
Languages : en
Pages : 416
Book Description
While debate continues in the fields of the sciences and humanities as to the nature of consciousness and the location of consciousness in the brain or as a field phenomenon, in the Vedic tradition, consciousness has been understood and continues to be articulated as an infinite field of intelligence at the basis of all forms of existence. This infinite field of intelligence is accessible to human awareness, being the very nature of the mind and the structuring dynamics of the physiology from the DNA, to the cell, tissues, organs, and to the whole body and its sophisticated functioning. This two-part volume, "The Big Fish: Consciousness as Structure, Body and Space," considers in Part One the Vedic approach to consciousness, specifically referencing Maharishi Vedic Science, and discusses themes pertinent to the arts, including perception and cognition, memory as awareness, history and culture, artistic performance and social responsibility, observatory instruments as spaces and structures to enhance consciousness, and, beyond metaphor, architectural sites as multi-layered enclosures of the brain detailed in the "Shrimad Devi Bhagavatam" and, as cosmic habitat or "Vastu" aligned to the celestial bodies. Presenting some more general consciousness-based readings, Part Two includes essays by various authors on Agnes Martin and her views on art, perfection and the Classic, unified field based education and freedom of expression versus censorship in art, prints from the Renaissance to the contemporary era as allegories of consciousness, the work of Australian artist Michael Kane Taylor as beyond a modern / postmodern dichotomy, the photographic series "The Ocean of Beauty" by Mark Paul Petrick referencing the Vedic text the "Saundarya-Lahari," a Deleuzian analysis of the dual-screen multi-arts work "Reverie I," and an account of the making of "Reverie II," a single-screen video projection inspired by the idea of dynamics of awareness. This book, therefore, presents a broad range of interests and reading while offering a unique, yet profoundly transformative perspective on consciousness."

Divine Dharma Save-Seed

Divine Dharma Save-Seed PDF Author: Satyajit Patidar
Publisher: Satyajit Patidar
ISBN:
Category : Antiques & Collectibles
Languages : en
Pages : 152
Book Description
I am on a mission to explain to the world the real fact that the human brain is NOT his mind, rather his seed's DNA is his mind (more specifically, the blue strand of the DNA spiral). Human brain is merely an evolved form of rRNA of the zygote, which processes the mRNA and tRNA wirelessly. Like the CPU of the computer, brain is a non-codon processing organ, which processes the genetic codes of the seed's DNA (mind) through a wireless nerve system called "Sushumna-Ada-Pingla". To know the wireless processing of the seed genetics in the brain, read this book. Unless seeds are saved, brain cannot produce any significant outcome. If the seeds are saved, then all the thoughts of the seed's mind come true naturally. Understand, follow and share Save-Seed awareness to make the world a heaven.
